Scope of the workshop:

New developments in computing and communication technology have paved the way for the development of networked healthcare systems, which primarily rely on the Internet of Things and edge computing. To enable their widespread implementation, these cutting-edge smart healthcare systems face significant hurdles related to data security and confidentiality. These issues must be resolved. New technologies like AI and blockchain have prompted the development of security solutions specifically designed for these kinds of systems. Through the use of cutting-edge techniques, this workshop seeks to raise awareness of the critical security issues that arise in connected healthcare environments while simultaneously improving the scalability and functional efficiency of these systems. It will also secure communications and ensure data integrity, along with trust management within an IoT ecosystem for smart cities. The aim of this workshop is to bring together developers, researchers, and industry professionals interested in IoT/edge security and privacy advances and applications for the evolution of connected healthcare systems.

Participants are welcome to present their recent developments and challenges associated with protecting healthcare systems' edge networks with emerging technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI).

Paper Submission and Publication:

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the workshop. The length of the papers should not exceed 6 pages. Papers must be formatted according to Springer's LNCS format, See Formatting Instructions and Stylesheets. All papers accepted for this conference are peer-reviewed and are to be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
