Background
Cultural heritage is a vital aspect of human identity, reflecting the rich tapestry of history, traditions, and values passed down through generations. However, in today's rapidly changing world, many heritage sites and cultural practices are at risk due to factors such as urbanization, climate change, and neglect. Recognizing the importance of preserving and revitalizing cultural heritage for future generations, there is a growing need for contemporary approaches that blend tradition with innovation, sustainability, and community engagement.
The conference " Heritage Revival: Innovative Paths to Sustainability" aims to provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and community leaders to explore and discuss innovative strategies for conserving and revitalizing cultural heritage in a sustainable manner. By bringing together experts from diverse fields, the conference seeks to foster dialogue, share best practices, and inspire new ideas to address the challenges facing heritage preservation in the 21st century. The 3rd ARCH and DESN International Conference invites contributions from academics and practitioners through presentations, seminars, research papers, workshops, and roundtables. It will bring together decision-makers, architects, interior designers, product designers, urban planners, urban designers, entrepreneurs, educators, agencies, and top keynote speakers to stimulate discussion covering the challenges and opportunities of revitalizing heritage and how this shall impact the educational and professional domains of architecture, building science and technology, environmental design, mobility, infrastructure, urban design & landscape, housing & real estate developments, urban planning, governance, socio-cultural & economic development, community engagement, tourism, and heritage conservation.
