Overview
You are cordially invited to participate in the International ICID 2024 Workshop “Cultural Perspectives of Human-Centered Approaches and Technological Innovations,” slated for January 27th-28th, 2024. This prelude to the ICID-2024 conference holds a focused approach while aligning with the ICID series topics. The workshop proceedings will be published and indexed by SCOPUS, adopting a hybrid format allowing onsite participation in Japan or Korea.The event emphasizes engaging Asian researchers, featuring esteemed speakers from institutions like Stanford, Berkeley, and universities in Korea, Japan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. ICID champions industry-driven studies in Information Systems' design, deployment, and adoption. It acts as a nexus for students to present R&D projects, foster connections, and bridge the academic-business divide.The fourth ICID is centered on IT research within BRICS and the Developing World, primarily online with limited on-site discussions. We encourage paper submissions, conference participation, and sharing research findings, providing a hybrid platform for involvement. The workshop is free to attend, with travel and accommodation responsibilities for on-site participants. Accommodation and logistics recommendations will be shared via email.

Publication
The workshop considers two steps of submission: abstract submissions (1-2 pages according to the Springer template) before the conference and papers submissions (6-8 pages for the short papers format and 10-12 pages for the full papers format) after the conference. Submission will be through the EasyChair system. All submitted abstracts and papers will be blind-reviewed by the program committee. All accepted abstracts will be invited for the presentation at the conference. Selected proceedings of the conference will be published and indexed by SCOPUS.
