In conjunction with Malaysia's upcoming Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025, and drawing upon the achievements of preceding ICoFA editions, Faculty of Business and Management, UiTM Perlis Branch, Malaysia is delighted to announce the return of the International Conference on the Future of ASEAN (ICoFA) for its fifth instalment. Scheduled to take place virtually on January 15th-16th, 2025, the 5th ICoFA 2025 carries the overarching theme of "Towards ASEAN Community Vision 2025."

We cordially extend our invitation to you to partake in the 5th ICoFA 2025, welcoming contributions from policymakers, industry experts, researchers, academia, and stakeholders across Malaysia and other ASEAN nations. This conference serves as a platform for robust intellectual exchange, focusing on the envisioned future of ASEAN through the lenses of the Political-Security Community, Economic Community, and Socio-Cultural Community.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference elsewhere. Authors are invited to submit complete, original and unpublished research papers to the International Conference of the Future ASEAN 2025 (ICoFA 2025) which may address theoretical, methodological or practical aspects revolve around the conference theme.

Formatting Guidelines:

As part of the submission process, authors are required to adhere to the following guidelines:

Authors must submit Full Paper using the EasyChair system via link https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icofa2025
The paper must be written in English only and must be between 8 to 10 pages including any tables/figures/appendix and references.
The in-text citations and reference list must be written according to the APA format, 7th edition.
The language must be of an acceptable standard. To ensure this, you are kindly advised to send your paper for language proofreading services prior to submission.
The submission file is in MS Word file using the template provided.
The author is responsible to ensure that the manuscript sent for review is free from plagiarism.
The notification of acceptance of the paper will be sent to the corresponding author only.
