SCOPE–2025 is a three-day international conference hosted by the Centre for Environmental Science and Engineering in association with department of Civil Engineering at IIT Kanpur, uniting global experts, researchers, industry persons, and policymakers to address critical challenges in water and environmental sustainability. As the inaugural edition of a planned conference series, SCOPE 2025 focuses on the theme “Reimagining Water Futures: Circularity, Smart Systems, and Sustainable Services.” It will feature keynotes, technical sessions, student innovations, and side events, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and impactful dialogue to shape future sustainability practices and environmental policies worldwide.

Submission Guidelines 

Researchers, practitioners, and students are invited to submit abstracts aligned with the conference themes. All accepted abstracts will be scheduled for oral or poster presentation.

Selected papers will be published as Scopus-indexed book chapters in the conference proceedings and may also be considered for publication in reputed Scopus or SCI journals.

Abstract Submission Deadline: 31st August 2025

Notification of Acceptance: 10th Septemeber 2025

Full Paper Submission (optional): 10th October 2025
