The Eighth International Women in Data Science(WiDS) Conference will be organized by Prince Sultan University(PSU), Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics (AIDA) Lab, in collaboration with Stanford University. The conference aims to foster women's interest and professional participation in data science, engineering, and computer science. WiDS PSU 2025 will bring together high-profile international researchers and industry pioneers. Prince Sultan University (PSU) is the WiDS Ambassador for Stanford, and the conference aims to expose the latest data science research and practices in the Arab Middle East by promoting the exchange of ideas, encouraging mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration in line with technological advances in the Kingdom under the umbrella of the Saudi Vision 2030.
WiDS PSU 2025 will allow national and international researchers to present their novel research findings and exchange information with the research community. It will bring specialists, leading researchers, scholars, scientists, and professors from computer science, technology, engineering science, business, education and alternative connected areas to act and exchange ideas concerning the state-of-the-art technologies associated with artificial intelligence, IoT & big data analytics.WiDS PSU will comprise oral sessions, keynote speeches, technical workshops, panel discussions, best regular paper & poster awards, Poster shows, and video shows by specialists in AI, Data Science and IoT domains. WIDS PSU 2025 will be held in a HYBRID MODE from April 13-14, 2025, with LIVE INTERACTIVE SESSIONS AND PRESENTATIONS ONLY opened to REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS.
Submission Guidelines
- Full papers should describe original and unpublished work about the above or related topics. Each manuscript will be reviewed by three reviewers with a blind review process. Authors are invited to submit their papers in English of up to 6 double-column pages in IEEE format, with up to 2 extra pages with additional fees. The format of the paper should follow IEEE guidelines for the two-column IEEE-sponsored conference proceedings. Templates for Microsoft Word and LaTeX are available here. Authors may use the online submission system hosted by EasyChair Conference System to submit their papers. Authors can submit up to 6 pages for a full paper (including references) and up to 3 pages for a short paper (including references) per IEEE guidelines.

Paper submissions can have multiple authors (of any gender). Still, at least one author of each accepted paper must be identified as a woman expected to present the paper at the conference aligned to SDG5.
- All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Accepted papers should not have more than 10% similarity and not more than 5% from a single source.
