Cyber Research Conference Ireland (CRCI 2024) acts as a meeting point where researchers from academia, industry, research groups/centres, companies and public authorities working in the field of cybersecurity and related areas can exchange knowledge and experience with the shared goal of strengthening research and building networks in the field across the island of Ireland. The event this year will primarily be hosted on Monday 25th November. The CRCI 2024 conference will accept high-quality regular research papers, as well as industrial papers promoting contributions on technology development, innovations and implementations.
Although the majority of participants at CRCI 2024 are expected to be currently based within the island of Ireland, submissions from outside Ireland are also welcome, provided that at least one of the authors was based on the island of Ireland at the time the research was conducted and/or the research was at least partially conducted within Ireland.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions must demonstrate a significant relevance to cybersecurity, cybercrime and related themes. Check the website for a list of themes.
The CRCI Steering Committee takes the protection of intellectual property very seriously. Submitted papers must be original and not be considered elsewhere for publication. Overlaps with previously published or simultaneously submitted papers, from any of the authors, should be clearly documented in the manuscript. By submitting your work, you agree to allow it to be screened for plagiarism.
Two types of submissions are invited:
- Full-length submissions must be at most eight A4 pages in standard IEEE two-column format, including text, figures, and tables. In exceptional cases, additional pages may be considered but will incur a supplemental charge.
-
In addition to full-length regular papers, CRCI welcomes Work-in-Progress (WiP) papers showing innovative and original research. Submissions from both industry and academia are strongly encouraged. WiP papers should be at most four A4 pages long, and at least two pages long, including tables, figures, and references. WiP papers are expected to report on early or ongoing research activities.
