The International Conference on Geoinformatics, an official event of the International Association of Chinese Professionals in Geographic Information Sciences (CPGIS), has become a major annual gathering for not only CPGIS members but also students, researchers, and professionals from various fields around the world. Each year, the conference takes place in a different global city, offering a rich platform for exchanging ideas and fostering collaboration. We are excited to announce that the 32nd annual conference will be held in Jiaozuo, China, in 2025.
The proposed theme of 32nd annual conference is GIScience for High-quality Development. The conference's objectives are to offer an engaging platform for networking and exchanging cutting-edge knowledge among diverse GIScience professionals worldwide, and to promote collaboration in GIScience and high-quality development. Under the theme, various sessions will be organized under several streams that include but are not limited to:
- Watershed health and management
- Ecological equity and sustainable development
- Geospatial science for urban planning
- GIS and RS for cultural heritage preservation
- GIS and RS for disaster response and management
- GIS and RS for carbon neutrality
- GIS and RS for local development solutions
- GIS and RS for food safety and quality management

- Geocomputation for Social Science
- Virtual geographic environments
- Cartography and Geovisualization
- Geospatial Big Data and GeoAI
- Geohumanities and spatial inequality analysis
- Advanced GIScience theory and method developments
The conference program will consist of 2-3 parallel sessions depending on the number of accepted conference contributions, e.g., long abstracts, full papers, student competition papers, and keynote speaker presentations.
