Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur invites abstracts and subsequent paper submissions from academicians, industry practitioners, research scholars, and students for its International Conference on Ethics and Responsibility in Business with the theme-' Enabling Social and Business Responsibility in Our Globalised World'.

About the Event:

The international conference, organized in association with JRD Tata Foundation for Business Ethics, brings together multiple international university partners with the aim of serving as the crucible for an in-depth exploration of the role played by ethics and responsibility in the contemporary business milieu. The conference includes keynote addresses by experts, paper presentations, panel discussions, and workshops.

Details:

• Round 1 will be an online submission of an abstract in 500 words.
• In Round 2, selected abstracts will be invited to present full papers at XLRI, Jamshedpur.
• For participation in Round 2, the entry fee will be applicable as follows:
  • Indian Students: Rs. 0
  • Research Scholars within India: Rs 1,500
  • Academicians within India: Rs 5,000
  • Industry Professional: Rs 8,000
  • Research Scholars from outside India: Rs 10,000
  • Academicians from outside India: Rs 21,000
• Registration Fee must be paid only after the abstracts are accepted. To submit these, you don't need to make any payment.
• For overseas participants, the exact amount of the registration fee will be computed based on the exchange rate on the transaction date.
• Payment methods will be online and shared with selected teams. 
• Accommodation provision is available for the selected teams.

Guidelines:

• Teams of 1-3 members each
• The word limit for the abstract is 500 words

• There is no fixed template for abstract submissions
• The competition is open to all college/university students, corporate professionals, researchers, and academicians
• Cross-college/organization teams are allowed
• If an individual participates in multiple teams for the same event, all such teams shall be disqualified
• If selected, at least one member of the team needs to be present for Round 2

Venue and Timings:

• Round 1: Abstract Submissions: Till 20th November 2023 
• Round 2: 9 AM, 2nd February 2024 – 3 PM, 3rd February 2024 at XLRI Jamshedpur

Awards:

• 1st Prize: Rs 50,000
• 2nd Prize: Rs 30,000
• 3rd Prize: Rs. 20,000
• Select papers will be published in a Scopus-indexed journal
