Abstract

Bedul Mangrove Ecotourism is a tourist destination located in Banyuwangi, precisely in Bloksolo Hamlet, Sumbersari District. This ecotourism is also included in the Alas Purwo National Park (TNAP) area. The main attraction of this ecotourism is the many thousands of mangrove trees and the icon is the bedul fish. This mangrove forest is a habitat for various animals with several migrant animals coming. Tourists who come to the Bedul Mangrove will not feel at a loss because this place is a place for educational, recreational and adventure tourism and this place is very suitable for the world of education because mangroves, the ins and outs and diversity of life, both flora and fauna, can be studied. This research explains the lack of management in Bedul mangrove ecotourism by collecting data in this report using interviews. Currently, Bedul Mangrove Ecotourism is very empty of visitors in terms of facilities and management is lacking and poorly maintained. This happened at the end of 2022 when the Bumdes withdrew from managing the Bedul mangrove tourism and explained that there were obstacles such as the Bumdes not being able to pay the levies to TNAP because it was already managed and under the auspices of TNAP.
