This predominant technological factor led businessmen to make the decision to add virtual functionality to their businesses, allowing them to be close to their customers. The entry of the first mobile applications for delivery services since 2018 was evaluated in our country and how initially took over in the most important cities, such as Guayaquil, Quito, Cuenca among others. However, with the arrival of COVID-19 at the end of 2019, the use of these platforms increased considerably due to the mandatory confinement, also expanding to smaller cities.
