EasyChair Preprint 2008

3 pagesDate: November 20, 2019

Abstract

The handedness of people have an impact on how we in-teract with the world around us, but how big of an impactdoes it have on our hand-eye coordination? To test thiswe decided to conduct an experiment showing the sta-tistical behaviour of participants using their dominanthand vs their non-dominant hand when playing darts. The study explores whether the participants accuracyand precision is affected when using their non-dominanthand vs their dominant hand. Furthermore the studyalso explores how the change in distance impacts the dif-ference in accuracy with both hands. The results showed that we could not conclude any-thing new, but the results indicate that further studywith a larger number of samples, could possibly resultin proving a difference in accuracy and precision whenusing your dominant hand vs non-dominant hand whenplaying darts.
