Abstract

Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a subfield of Artificial Intelligence that is receiving a lot of attention in terms of research and development as a result of the growing number of applications. Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a computerised method of analysing texts. NLP entails obtaining information on how humans comprehend and use language. This is being done in order to build tools and approaches that will allow computers to interpret and manipulate natural languages in order to execute various tasks. Natural language processing is being used in a variety of industries, including healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and education, retail, and customer service. This paper examines the literature on the uses of Natural Language Processing (NLP) in machine translation, text analysis, and conversational & question answering systems. It also includes a brief history of NLP as well as earlier NLP research. It is based on the examination of documents. This research article may be useful to anyone interested in studying and learning about natural language processing (NLP) and its uses.
