ICTMP 2026: Editor's Preface

It is our great pleasure to present the proceedings of The 11th International Conference on Tribology in Manufacturing Processes & Advanced Surface Engineering (ICTMP 2026), held from July 22 to 24, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand. This volume presents a collection of peer-reviewed papers from ICTMP 2026, reflecting the latest advancements, research, and innovations in tribology and advanced surface engineering as applied to manufacturing processes.

ICTMP 2026 brought together researchers, engineers, and practitioners from academia and industry worldwide to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration in all areas of tribology and surface engineering. The conference covered a broad range of topics, including but not limited to friction, wear, lubrication, surface modification, coatings, additive manufacturing, and advanced materials. Special attention was given to integrating tribological principles into modern manufacturing technologies and to developing novel surface engineering solutions for industrial applications.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all authors for their high-quality contributions and to the reviewers for their critical and constructive evaluations, which were essential in maintaining the scientific excellence of this conference. Our heartfelt thanks go to the ICTMP 2026 Organizing Committee, the International Scientific Committee, and all supporting organizations for their dedication and effort in making this event a success.
